McLaren Racing is proud to be supporting The Sapphire Project
Founded by Bruce McLaren in 1963, McLaren Racing is today one of the most widely recognised racing teams in the world. We want to use our platform to advocate and educate for climate action and have committed to achieving net zero by 2040 – a target that has been verified by the Science Based Targets initiative. We recognise that we must play our part, both by reducing emissions across our operations and supply chain, but also by taking action to remove existing carbon from the atmosphere and support the restoration of damaged ecosystems.
That’s why in 2023 we established our Climate Contribution Programme, to work with organisations with climate solutions that we can help to scale and accelerate using our F1 know-how. We have partnered with three leading organisations committed to high-quality projects that address the impacts of climate change, including The Great Barrier Reef Foundation, Mombak and UNDO.
